Mattie: Native Missourian, Golden Retriever, Mattie is 8 years old. Mattie loves being on the trail. Preferring the cooler months to do her hiking. Mattie hikes with us most of the time on the OT and has been on almost all of the OT. Favorite Section of the Ozark Trail: Eleven Point River, and Current River (she loves to swim!)
Peggy Welch CPC: A trip to beautiful Johnson's Shut-Ins actually helped Peggy to make the decision to move to Missouri. An avid outdoors person and photographer, enjoys hiking, bird watching, canoeing and fishing. Peggy is an outstanding photographer and has taught Nature Photography Classes for the Missouri Department of Conservation . A lifetime member and volunteer with the Ozark Trail Association and certified Sawyer. Her excellent mapping and GPS skills always keep the trail team on course. Favorite Section of the Ozark Trail: "I can't pick just one!" Eleven Point River, Current River --all of them!
Margo Carroll: Native Missourian, loves to get out and explore. Margo enjoys hiking, mountain biking and "just getting outside.". She is a lifetime member, board member and volunteer for the Ozark Trail Association. Author of "Cycling St. Louis" and contributor to "Show Me Mountain Biking."Favorite Section of the Ozark Trail: "In the spring - Blair Creek (great flowers), in the fall - Taum Sauk(great views), in the winter Karkaghne (Sutton Bluff with no one around is wonderful)."
